French Revolution & Atlantis – The Two Must-Ride Coasters
If you're visiting Lotte World and wondering,“Which rides should I absolutely not miss?” — I’d say it loud and clear:
“French Revolution and Atlantis. No question.”
These two are not just fun rides — they’re the signature coasters of the park, the ones that make you feel like you've truly experienced Lotte World. They both stand out with their size, intensity, and iconic status. Each offers its own kind of thrill, and honestly? You should try both.
French Revolution – Spiraling Speed Inside the Dome
French Revolution is a high-speed roller coaster that races through the entire indoor section of Lotte World Adventure. It zips under the ceiling, weaving around other attractions, with sharp curves, spirals, and sudden directional changes that’ll keep you screaming from start to finish.
Since it’s completely indoors, you feel that extra tension from the closed space and low-hanging structures speeding past you. The ride never really lets up — just when you think it might slow down, it dives into another turn or twist.
Many riders say,"It’s not the coaster that’s loud — it’s the people!" because the screaming never stops.
Like Riding a Coaster Over Water
Atlantis is located in the outdoor Magic Island section,
and even from afar, it looks impressive — a huge, sleek ride that almost feels like a mix of a coaster and a water ride.
But here’s the thing: you don’t actually get wet.
Even though part of the track runs above water, there’s no splash zone, no water spray, and no need for ponchos.
It looks like a water ride, but it’s really all about fast, powerful drops.
Once the ride launches, you’ll immediately hit a near-vertical drop, followed by sharp turns, launches, and airtime that all come in rapid succession.
It’s short, but every second is intense — you’ll likely come off the ride laughing, gasping, and saying,"Can we do that again?"
