Screams guaranteed: Lotte World’s most thrilling rides.

Gyro Drop & Gyro Swing

If you’re visiting Seoul and looking for something more exciting than cute carousels or character parades, let us introduce you to the real thrill rides at Lotte World.
Meet the park’s two most iconic scream-inducing attractions: Gyro Drop and Gyro Swing.

Both rides are located in Magic Island, Lotte World’s outdoor section. Set against the open sky and surrounded by the cityscape of Jamsil, they offer a breathtaking (literally!) experience right in the middle of Seoul.

Let’s start with Gyro Drop — a towering 70-meter (230 ft) ride that slowly lifts you up, offering a peaceful panoramic view of the city. But don’t get too comfortable.
Before you know it, you’ll be plummeting straight down at 100 km/h (62 mph).
Just when you think, “Wait, are we actually dropping?” — you’ve already hit the bottom.
It’s a few seconds of pure adrenaline that you’ll remember all day.

Right next to it is Gyro Swing, a massive pendulum ride that looks like a giant flying swing.
It swings up to 120 degrees while spinning, creating a perfect mix of dizzying height, rotation, and weightlessness. It’s not as sudden as the Gyro Drop, but it lasts longer — and some say it’s even scarier because of that floating-in-the-air feeling.

Gyro Drop and Gyro Swing are two of Lotte World’s most iconic thrill rides.
If you’re craving an open-air, heart-racing adventure, these are a must.
Just one tip: maybe don’t ride them right after lunch.
